What are you aiming to do with the mailto ?

Create a mailing list of just let people email you ?

Using mailto to let folks send you emails is a bit sucky because it means using outlook or similar, a simple email form will work better and look more professional. Just my personal opinion though.

##----[ MAILTO COMMAND ]----##
<a href="mailto:yourEmail@yourDomain.com">Send me an Email here</a>

Also if you wanted to force a subject on them (so you can identify certain emails) you can add a "?subject=bah" to the end of your email address and text for the body by adding "?body=blah" or separated with a '&' if you use both.

Just something you might find useful.
