I'm trying to redirect my visitors from the index file to /SD-v2/index.php but its not working ..I'm guessing it could be the hyphon (-).
Heres what i'm using

redirect index.html http://www.strangedarkness.com/SD-v2/index.php

Whenever I go to strangedarkness.com I still end up @ index.html

..help!

There should be no reason to do this redirect index.php will be a default document so if index.html is taken down index.php should take over.

If you are redirecting to a sub-folder it should be

Redirect 301 / http://www.yourdomain.com/sub-folder

I wanted to redirect from the main index page to the index file in SD-v2/ its ok though I've just decided to move my new design into the main folder. i was too lazy
