TextPad is also very good, if you use Windows. A slightly modified version is available free or you can purchase the full version.

I've been using EditPad since 1997 when it was postcardware. Now I use EditPad Lite. I wouldn't mind buying the full version, but it's too dang expensive, and Lite has all the features that I need.

I've used lots of other text editors in the past, and haven't found any that are as easy to use as EditPad. It's also really good with the memory, and loads fast.

I give it 5 of out of 5 bananas.

Jonathan, I agree with you 100%

Editors are nice, but I prefer NotePad on Windows, works just fine for me.

Edit pad is just like note pad only with extra stuff added. Like being able to save as an html, without typeing in .html. Also lets you open multiable files.

I use Arachnophilia, it's real easy to use, with lots of features.

I was using EditPad when it was postcardware too. I never mustered enough energy to send a postcard overseas and eventually I quite using it for notepad.
