DW MX (6.0) can't see any reason to upgade or buy a newer one, code view is the same no matter what version it is, and Edit Plus.

I used to just code stuff using Notepad and WordPad. Now, I have Notepad++ and think it's a great free text editor.

Dreamweaver 8.0 for general web design and coding, is there anything else?

Oh, and Flash 8.0 for flash (duh) with help from Flex 1.5. Using Sorenson Squeeze for video compression.

Fireworks 8.0 for web graphics and layout design. Photoshop for photographic images. Case Studio for Database modeling. Poseidon UML for OOD. Navicat for MySQL and Enterprise Manager for MSSQL. Camtasia Studio for tutorial screen recordings. Easy Thumbnails for duh, creating thumbnails. And other small things like ColorPix for a screen color picker, etc..

And Keepmygolfscore.com to record my golf scores.

I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 6.0 and notepad for my editors. ( If anyone knows how to update it plz tell me mine wont update/upgrade!) I use KoolMoves for my flash. (KoolMoves is probably better than you think. I've made a whole entire site out of it)

I use (and love) Edit Plus 2. Its free, and I have been using it for about 1.5 years now. It supports multiple languages.
