How hard would it be to change a Perl/CGI script that stores information in files to a PHP script that would store the info in a database. I have a shopping cart program that I'm thinking about converting, just for fun, but I'd like to know if there are any problems or things I should pay extra attention to.

Has anyone ever done this before?
