Hi guys, i've searched around a bit and can't really find what i'm looking for. anyways, what I want to do is publish on my website which song is currently playing on Windows Media Player 10 with the Blogging Plugin installed. I'm not quite sure exactly where to start, I've found quite a few tutorials on interacting with the blogging plugin with a C# or .net application, but nothing on getting it to a website. Also, the website is hosted on a server other than the one i'd like to get the song information from. I'm assuming i'd have to download some sort of software to get it from point A to point B. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that'd be great!

You could write a .NET program that sits in the background and monitors WMP10, and when the track changes over it could post a form to a script on your site via HTTP? The script could store in a database or a text file and when anyone loads the page you print the track name?

Yeah, I assume I'd have to dip into that, I'm just wondering if there are any prewritten programs out there that coudl do this for me. I know very little about .net programming but wouldn't mind playing around with it

also, I'm assumign that the blogging plugin does just that, sits in the background and monitors WMP, as I've incorporated the track name and whatnot into a Samurize skin. just not sure how to have the website query a 'server' so to speak on my computer and get the data

hmm, well I suppose either would work, i've still got no .net knowledge. I am going to look around a bit I believe I found a peice of software out there that might do this but i've gotta look into it. still open to suggestions if anyone knows of anything
