Hello,

I'm relatively new to mySQL and PHP but I have had moderate success customizing
open source software based on these two technologies. I installed a program on
my local apache server (Mac OS X) and everything went well. I then uploaded
all the files to my web site and I made sure the globals file had the correct
mysql user name, db name, and password etc.

But on the "live" site I keep getting the following message when I access the
login page:

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in
/home.../clients/modules/actions/LOGIN_USER on line 28

I don't even know where to begin here. I've looked in the mysql manual but
nothing seems clear to me.

Could someone please help me. If you need additional information please let me
know. This is an important section of my site that provides project mgmt and
clients need to access this asap.

What is line 28 in your code? Maybe you can list it and someone can pick out what might be wrong there.

check your spelling. this usually happens to me when all the syntax and everything is correct but something along the line is spelled wrong.
