Okay. I have a client that wants to use BluePay as the payment processor (they're already signed up). The cart software I have ready to go is not listed on BluePays "Certified Shopping Cart" list. Is it possible for ME to get it certified, since I did the changes needed to the software? Or does the original author have to take care of that?

You can do it. It's pretty simple. This can be done using the manuals to check the exact syntax and variables required. !!

Let me say that the Certification of the software is a moot point in your case. The only reason for the Certification is that it puts a stamp of approval on certain vendor software, so that BluePay can recommend it to you without liability issues.

You can still go ahead and implement your Shopping Cart software with the recoding, but understand that you do it at your own risk (or I should say your client's risk in this case).

As Nakul says though, it is pretty easy. You probably figured most of it out...the hashtables, security keywords, footprints, and whatever else goes on behind the scene. There are security issues involved and you just have to make sure that that portion of the coding is on a secure server.

I am not familular with BluePay, but I had to do a conversion at Authorize.NET a few months back. It was pretty straight forward stuff, but Authorize.NET has really decent support on this. They provided coding examples and step by step instructions in implementing the new SIM/AIM programs.

You should check the BluePlay Technical Support area and see if they have any of this type of information. If they do, follow it closely and you will be in good shape.
