What I want to do is password protect a page on my site so when someone buys my product they will have to use a password before they can download it and then the password will only be good for 24 hours. can anyone help

You will need to place this on one of the more specific programming pages.
I would do this in PHP, though other methods like ASP etc can also do the job for you. There are already some examples of password protection on there so have a look and replace you're post
