Hi all,

This help would be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to work around an issue that is in regards to my shopping cart payment settings. I have an option for a custom payment page.

Ex: To have payments mailed in to me.

What I am trying to do is use that page for an 'offline payment' page. Meaning a page that one can submit their payment information on, (aka a form) and have it emailed to me. I tried taking it upon myself to get it to work but I have a problem with there being to submit buttons (both do work) but when a customer sees it that way, they won't know what to do. I am asking if anyone knows a way around that without having to re-code the checkout page.

Also note if I don't add a 'submit' button to my custom page, and just use the one from the cart, it doesn't send the custom page details to me.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Esentially, what I am trying to do, is to have the original shopping cart submit button also send the custom page to me via email. It won't work if there is form data on the page.

Tia,
-Brian

You're trying to email customers payment information to yourself? I would strongly advise you not to do this. Email is incredibly insecure and no payment information should ever be sent this way.

When the user submits the form now what happens? Is the information stored in a database somewhere? What shopping cart are you using?

I am not perfect, NO ONE IS PERFECT, but those who steal or attempt to steal information, will be TESTED!

No further explanation is needed here.

What I mean by that message is who ever 'steals' information meaning takes it from someone else, then uses in the 'wrong way' will...

...To be continued

Ah your referencing to your post. I see.

Well say someone does steal info from your email...how are you gonna track it? And how will you know who is stealing it?

Like I say no one is perfect, but if you seek you shall find. I will not go any further as to how I accomplish this task, but don't put me to the test. It's not personal. End of topic discussion.
