Hello,

I am looking for a comments script that is somewhat easy to work with. I have looked for them on my own with no real luck and really what I need it to do is this. I want to post a comments area at the bottom of my news posts to allow feed back from my readers. I am not going using a blog for my site so I am looking for something kind of simple if that is an option. At this point I can not change my site so having a good tool for this would be great. Also I am willing to pay a small fee if nessary.

Any ideas?

I don't know that much about what I would need... I think a CGI script or perl would be the best but I am just starting to learn about server side code and I am not to sure what would be best for this...

it's not really about what would be best but about what your host supports.

Well I know they support cgi, perl, and php for sure... I have sql also.

sNews is a simple article type script. comments can be enabled if you like. You would almost need to put it in a seperate diretory from you main site to minimize the install work.

Ok, not what I was thinking it was... I just want a small little comment section at the bottom of my news posts. I am supprised there is not something that I can find.

Which articles are you writing that you want to allow comments to?

What about greymatter? It is a small blogging script bbut if you set it up right, you can make it work well for comments.

See? Also, if you dont really care that much, maybe a paid account on haloscan so you wouldnt have ads and things..

I want to add comments to my news posts... When you open a news post at the end of the press release I want people to be able to add comments. I would also like to be able to add comments to other pages as well, like some product reviews.
