i am looking for an add a link/suggest a link script.

i have one in asp now, but it is kinda not stable. so i am looking for anyother scripts.

i had a look at the php scripts, most requires mysql.

i found one. it is called xlinks, run on php and mysql.

It's looking great (I even added my own link).

Only one little niggle I have about it tho, is the fact that it posts the submitter's details on the page, but there is no warning that it will do so. This could leave this script prone to become spider bait. If you've got enough knowledge to tweak it to make it optional, I think it would be worth it.

i have modified the script and the poster's name and email address are not required. the fields have been taken from the add page and also the existing site's contact names and emails will not be displayed.

- means this is a commercial script which you have bought? or..

i was looking for the exact same think but the only good one i found was in-link and you have to pay for that

so i just added a basic link database myself

at the moment i have to add all links manually myself to the database but that doesnt bother me

ill have to learn a bit more about php/mysql and make it so that visitors can submit links
