How on earth can I operate a newsletter without using sql or php or asp? Any help appreatiated. Thanks.

You can still use Perl you know... checkout http://mojo.skazat.com/ - still popular and widely used. I have been running it on many site for years and it's always been reliable.

There are many mailing programs out there you can use. Search Google. I'm currently using one called e-Campaign

Checkout my last post in this thread, it's a script available on the web and you can add subscribers manually as well as send your newsletters to them from the admin pages.
