Hello Everyone,

I am trying to work out how to cloak URL's. For instance the visitor hits www.domain.com and whatever page they click on, the deisplay at the top of the page reads www.domain.com with no page after it.

I have noticed lots of free redirection website that offer this service but would like to know how it is done for my own purposes.

Thanks for your help.

This is usually done with frames on the index page.
Code:
<FRAMESET ROWS="*">
  <FRAME SRC="home.html" NAME="main">
</FRAMESET>
Or something along those lines...

Cool thanks!

Have a look at this link and see if you can work out how he cloaks it!

Note: I am in no way affiliated with this site, it is from a spam mail that hit my hotmail but is bloody clever and I would like to know how he/she did it.

Are you sure it's the correct link?

Also, iframes and normal frames aren't really a *cloak.* They aren't changing pages, they are just changing the content of the frame on the page, so the page looks like it's remaining the same.

WahoOo is right,,, all the frames do is not show the page in the address bar -- wich is what Gue is trying to do...

Another good way to do it,, which is probably the best, Use a Perl, PHP, or ASP script -- Use ID'S to link to a specific page.
