I recently was requested to set up a website for my organisation as I'm the only one here with any knowledge of webdesign. I managed to partially learn CSS and Flash and now I'm stuck. We offer downloads of video's but in their video format, not compressed format. At the moment users have to right click and save target as, does anyone know how I can make the download dialogue appear when they click on it?

Whe someone clicks on the file it usually takes them to the video in internet explorer and we already have a high quality (soon to be high quality that is) video preview in flash format.

Any help would be great.

It needs to be done server side in whatever language your server supports

Choose any ServerSide Language and Write the binary data to the Browser stream to start the download and save the Original URL on which you have stored these videos so that No site copier can download all the videos.
