I want a site that makes the customer pay for a membership in order to receive great deals on products. The new customer will have to put in their name and password to enter. No one else will be able to get in unless they get a memebership. I am working in Front Page and I have some knowledge of Access. I actually did this many years ago in school, but dont remember. Please advice me on how to do this...I figure there are a bunch of articles on the internet, but cant seem to find any yet.

Thanks for your time!

I am not sure what kind of payments I will accept. Possibly Paypal yeah...it seems pretty easy to use.

YOu can use htaccess to ask for passwords and usernames.

The user can pay through paypal then have a script right their username and password the htaccess file and this will give them access to the members only area.

If you want somthing simple until you can get a raelly good script or somone to make it for you you can use my script ACAccess wich will do all the above except the payment thing lol

----

I suggest using htaccess though

You may also use php to write your login procedure... Or try to search for existing scripts

Even better. (Based of andrews suggestion hehe )

You can use PHP and MySQL. You can then have the user pay monthly or weekly

I think in the Paypal developer network there is sample code for doing this, or at least there is an article explaining it. It would be a good place to start. Look in the IPN section.
