Uhhh... For different resolutions you may use align="center" width=700. It look's not bad, but you hlave to use fixed size... It's a problem...

You have to choose what is more importanta for you - resolution or resizing... As for me, i choose first...

Be careful with centring as some browsers pass text alignment onto their child selectors. So you might centre a table and find that all text within that table is centred on some browsers.

Better to use this CSS:

margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;

e.g. using inline styles:
<div style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;">
