is it possible to automatically generate a sitemap (or directory) for any site i am looking at?
i ask not just for myself, but another webmaster had discovered an 'emplyees only' page on my site which was not linked to from anywhere, i had only sent the URL to our employees.
it was not 'mission critical' info, but pictures of our last christmas party.
i was surprised to see him reference it, and wondered if he knew a trick to find a sitemap or directory which i was not aware of.
any help on this is appreciated!

From what I have found, If your website is on search engines any page that is not pertected can be crawled and listed.

You can find some pages by simply searching on google with the domain name: www.site.com.

Im sure there are programs out there that can crawl the site and pull out all the pages. I've seen some myself I wish I could see the code they used hehe
