I redid a website for someone and I deleted the index they had to add on the one I redone.

But today I got a call from the people I'm making the site for telling me that on the index page they had a tracking code to see how many hits and got from different searches like google...

but I have no clue what they're referring to...so I need help getting that code back up.

Wait so you lost there code? First thing I suggest is do not panik. Call there website host and try to have them restore the files, even if you have to pay a fee you save face. If you get the files restored notify the owners and tell them what happened, if you couldent get them restored ask them if they made any backups of there website. Hope you get the code back!
