My partner is considering creating an all php website for a client that wants to do alot of updating without accessing the ftp. Can googlebots read php like they do html text?

Please advise.

PHP just sends output to the browser as plain text (which includes HTML). So Google will see it as a normal HTML page.

The part that starts confusing them is when you put query strings in the URL: http://mydomain.com/section.php?view...d=8&user_id=80

But most SE's are getting better at thiat, Google is fine with it I think. I'm no SE expert though so don't hold it to me
