Question #1
Is it true that Search Engines have a
problem 'Seeing' Script that is in Frames?

Question #2
Does this mean that if you put links on a
link page of a website in Frames, that the
search engines will not recognize the number of links you have as to move-up
to a higher ranking in a search engine?
OR does this ONLY mean meta-tags?

Hi,
I actually cannot answer your questions without looking it up. I'll try to read some text, but before I'll get done that you will probably get a faster answer by reading yourself. Just google. There are hundreds of thousands of manuals/ tuts/ etc explaining the disadvanteges and advantages of frames.

But I'll suggest you don't use frames. I cannot see that the many disadvanteges do not outnumber the advantages. In earlier times frames made it possible, that you can store the i.e. the menu central and integrate it in an easy way to your site. But today with the possiblity of dynamic sites you can realize all that with php, for example.

Greets,

Answer #1. It doesn't really have a problem with Framesets, but if the Search Engine uses other pages from your site (if you frameset is index.htm and you about me page is about.htm) it will not display the frameset, but just the about page.

Answer #2. Not too sure
