hey all, just a quick one, i have been thinking of setting up my own sever, but i keep having one problem, when i target a domain name to my local host folder, the ip address location loads in the bottom left of the browser, is there anyway to remove that?? and maybe have the domain name, or nothing at all?

Do you mean like whn it says transfering data from... or somin like that... also a link would be goo t see what you mean.

why? i dont see the point?
not many people actually look at it, and what does it matter?

but my IP will be there, and im not overly keen on it being on display worldwide

If someone wanted you Ip they would get it, all sites show their ip at sometime.
it really doesnt matter.if someoen wanted you pc it is very easy to get. so dotn feel more at threat or anything with it being shown.
