I just discovered the great possibilities of VML and what it can do for graphing in a web browser. I found this link (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ml/default.asp) that talks about it and it mentions that it's only supported by Microsoft browsers, but this article was last updated in 1998.

Does anyone know if it's being supported by any other browsers at the present moment or is there a cross browser language with similar capabilities?

No, its not supported by any other browsers. However, SVG is similar and is supported by firefox and opera, not sure about konqueror or safari.
There are a few xplatform js graphics libraries (like dojo) that will output the correct format depending on the browser.

I'm pretty sure it came standard with IE5, and as an upgrade to IE4. But, since MS was the only one supporting it, and the syntax was a bit heavy it never really took off. There were a few adventurous types who actually built video games using it with javascript.
