Okay, I'm going to attempt to explain this as best as I can. On my website (coming soon), I am looking to have two navigation boxes. The top one is going to have the main categories (such as home, jokes, riddles, articles, etc).

What I'm looking to do is have it so that when the user clicks on one of those main categories, a menu comes up in the bottom navigation box with a list of subcategories (for jokes, maybe Animal, Bar, Blonde, Computer, etc). Then, upon clicking one of those, they would get directed to the page.

I know that it's possible, because I've seen it done before. I don't want it so that when they click it, it reloads the page, but rather just opens the new menu in the bottom.

Did you follow that? Thanks for your help!

PS: I'm not sure if it's PHP or Javascript, but I'm pretty sure it's the latter, so I posted it here...

I don't have the code to hand but I would have thought the best way would be:
* Put the bottom menu in an iFrame
* Set the target of the top frame to the name of the iFrame

otherwise you could try layers/div in DHTML.

Okay, thanks David! I'll try that. I could've sworn, though, that there was a way in Javscript or PHP to do it... haha
