Taking my first Java classes!

I am taking my first Java programming class here in Hawaii. Basically, it is 3 classes over the next 5 months.

The first class is 3 1/2 hours a night for 10 meetings.

The second class is the same as the first but advanced.

The final class is J2EE - WebComponent Development with Servlet and JSP Technologies.

I hope these classes will give me a good foundation to start programming in Java and PHP. Wish me luck!

Any recommendations?

Mike

I've taught Java and J2EE at Portland Community College for over 4 years (night class).

I'm starting to build a mirror site at http://www.online-etraining.com that contains a lot of the material I've developed over the years. I hope you'll find it useful, and I should have more content posted during the next couple of weeks.
