does any body know of a good chatting script, i can only use CGI and PHP and i dont want it to use up a lot of cpu and i want it to be fast, does any body know where i can get somthing like this?!

why not consider trying 123flashchat which is developed by java as its backend while its client is made by beautiful flash. The most outstanding feature of it is that it has high speed as well as not occuping too much Random Access Memory, and u can download its demo here:
