hello,

i just want to know if this .htaccess code is correct:

Code:
AddType application/x-httpd-php .exa
I am pretty sure that it is correct but it doesnt work when i use it.
I am putting it in my .htaccess file in my root directory. and i am using exa as an example.

When i use this script or w/e i just see the text, and a file that has:

PHP Code:
 <?php
echo "this is a test";
?>
is displayed as:

<?php
echo "this is a test";
?>

on the webpage.

Is PHP is installed and enabled on your hosting ? and what version of Apache ?

Try

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml .exa

if it's Apache 2
