Hey everyone, I have NO idea where to put this as i'm not sure which coding would be appropriate for it. So i've put it in here...

Basically, we have about 50 pages on our new design. And a section at the top "Next Game" and "Last Game"... The Premiership table and other things are shown on ALL the pages.

So is there anyway if we changed the main index page to update it, all of the other pages change automatically. I'm SURE there is a code out there... But can't think of it to save my life!

Cheers!

You need some form of CMS (Content Management System)

The only way I can figure is to rename a copy of your html files to *.xml, then use XSLT to transform it into a different type of html. I'm not sure if that would actually take you less time than the type of approach Chris is talking about.

A Content Management System is a type of database that can generate a bunch of html files against a template. On the other hand, you can use a server language like ASP or PHP to do more or less the same thing, but with less maintenance. With either of these approaches, you would need all the information that's on your existing pages in a totally different format. If you ( or someone who works on your site ) has programming skills, ASP.NET and an XML copy of your existing site might be the path of least resistance.
