This is too simple to take cash for. Here is one PayPal button example:

<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="234.00">

Rewrite it like this in your form:

<input type="text" name="amount">

Go to PayPal, they should have a list of accepted variables and the names to use for each field. You might also check into IPN. It's much more powerful and secure.
