I'm setting up my RSS feed for free. What I've noticed is that the Mozilla FireFox version looks very different from the IE version. The FireFox version is fine, but the IE version is just plain black text on a white BG.. I'm guessing this is because of the different ways browsers handle xml, but is it? can someone explain to me how I can set up a better version of the RSS for IE and why this is happening?

Are you trying to apply styling info to the RSS feed? Most people just leave the feeds as is due to the many many different readers people use.

i suppose. It just when I look at the rss without a reader, it doesn't look good in IE, but looks fine in firefox

Well, I'd venture to say that 100% of people who use RSS feeds don't use a browser but a reader designed for it. Firefox just displays them differently because its a better browser, and they wanted to be better. Your users won't notice this because they will be using a specially designed reader.

Well, rss 2 is designed for people who don't have readers, in an html format. Thanks though, i probably wont bother with it
