Right now, I have an animation .gif file posted on my signature. I wonder if I can do the same way with .swf .
I used command [img]imgage link [/img] for .gif file.
I would assume no, only because the object tag used to embed a .swf file in a web page is far more complex than a simple image tag. And to my knowledge vBulletin doesn't support it.
