My site has just been mentioned by RollingStone.com but there links points to one of my "flashwindow" pages, and as a result doesn't have the sites navigation.

My Site: http://www.chopaway.com

Click the first box and our news loads in the flashwindow.

I would like to know if there is a .htaccess 'script' that can redirect all incoming links from http://www.chopaway.com/news.php to the homepage? I would like all visitors to get the full effect of visiting my site

Many thanks,
Will

Why would you want to lose REAL visitors by dumping them onto what is the most confusing home page ever???

It's a real "now what do I do"? page

Ahh the wonders of a "cool" site that no one can link to properly

.htaccess probably won't help

you need some php on the page that checks for something that indicates a footprint from your "home" page, if it isn't there redirect into the home page with a marker flag for the page to open then open the correct page.

Thanks for the help Chris, I wasn't sure it could be done with PHP but I'll look into it

I'm not bothered about Search Engine traffic tbh. I run the site for fun, and enjoy playing with the design. I've made my fair share of W3C Compliant, 3 Column, out of the box websites ~ got bored of those years ago.

Also, Google loves me so why change it haha?
