Hey there,

I have a very strange question...is it possible to declare custom variables within SHTML and assign them values (ideally, the values within server variables themselves)?

I'm trying to create an SHTML layout that requires a custom variable (since I need to pass the document name to the footer include, or else I get the footer include document name, which I don't want.)

Is there any syntax for custom variable declaration within SHTML? I'm having no luck searching for it. Thanks.

<!--#set var="var_name" value="Content for Var_name" -->

<!--#echo var="var_name" -->

NOTE: the #set directive is not implemented on IIS servers
