PHPNuke is a content management system that is built around the phpbb forum, I believe, but I could be wrong. I was thinking of using it for a project but then it was suggested to me that maybe the support isn't there anymore, and also, if you don't want to build a website around a forum, there may be other options.

I do like the look of it though, and may still use it.
