Dynamic Text INSIDE a movie clip.

Hey hey,

I have a movie clip that when you "open" it up to edit the contents has a dynamic text field in it. This is so I can get it to scroll (I have followed this tutorial)

Now, at the end of the tutorial the person writing it teased me by mentioning you could use dynamic text if you wanted to. I've tried a bunch of other tutorials on dynamic text, and searched Google for a good two days without finding a work around for this.

I have read that it might have something to do with using _root or something with action script, but I'm not sure.

Please go easy on any explanations as I am still a big noob with all this stuff!

PS I wasn't real sure whether to put this here or in the "Other Code" Forum since it involves action script, so I apologize in advance if this is not the correct forum for this.

Thanks for the reply, I finally got it to work right.

But theres always something new isn't there...

I now have the whole thing working correctly, but now I have the problem with changing the size of the paragraph...

OK, so I have a dynamic text field where I have put my external .txt file. It works great as long as there is only a small amount of text in the file. But if I put in anything larger than the height of the text box it doesn't show the remaining text. I thought Dynamic text was supposed to change to accommodate height?
