So, if I want to be able to bypass the proxy I would need my own proxy server? I have no problem with this, assuming that I don't have to pay an arm and a leg. Oh and for the record, I'm not attempting to goof off at work. I'm a computer tech, and my corporate network admins are morons. For example, I need to access Apple's website because I repair Mac's as well as PC's, and our network admins know this, but yet they still have Apple's website blocked. Hell, until I figured out a soloution, they had all FTP access blocked, which of course meant that I couldn't download drivers from pretty much any motherboard manufacturer, as well as Compaq, HP, Linksys, etc. The bottom line is that they don't give me the tools I need to do my job. Of course, I would like to be able to goof off I wanted to , but honestly...I don't have the time.
If I don't mind setting up a proxy server, than what would my next step be?
Thanks again for all your help!!!
