This is not a Which one is better.
I just want to know what everyone has.
Also it would be nice to say what version you have too.

I own 1 Mac OSX iMac G3 (slow and sturdy)

I also have a few PCs(XP and (98). I play most games on them because I had most of my games before my mac.

I've got a Macbook. I prefer it over a PC, but I also have a few PCs.

I think you'll find most people here are, just like in the wider world, PC users.

By the way, you could have created a poll for this - the statistics would be easy to gauge that way.

Also, can you not spam in the future please:

Right now I've got 3 PCs - Windows XP Pro, Windows XP Home/Ubuntu Server, Windows XP Pro x64

I wouldn't have much use for a Mac considering I'm a programmer, but I know some people that do web design or film editing and they swear by it.

PC all the way. i always wanted a mac, so i went out and bought myself one 2 years ago, after using it for 1 day i hated it. i loved the look if it and its applications, however i just couldnt get used to its software and different ways of doing things. i ended up selling it 3 days after i purchased it, and have carried on using PC's since

I run a PC with Windows XP Professional for work, and at home I run Linux (Suse 10.1). I'm gradually turning into a linux only guy.

I've owned both, but I stay with PCs simply due to to servicing issues and software availability. In my experience, both take more time and money for a Mac.

Linux is a very good alternative to PCs and although I use Mac now as my main OS, I've got Ubuntu and hopefully OpenSuSE 10.3 by tomorrow, running in virtualisation.

I use Windows right now. Windows XP crashed a long time ago, and I had to use Linux for a while. I used Fedora Core 6 with GNOME. It worked pretty well for me. But then I got Vista, and I was able to do all of the things that I wanted to.

I think that if I had the choice between Vista and Mac right now (if I could take all of my programs with me) I would choose Mac. It's a lot faster and I like the way that they look.

The difference is quite large and noticable - well that's what I think as a Mac user, but ex Windows loyalist.

Macs are faster and crash a lot less plus have better security at the moment, but they are generally more expensive and there are far less programs that are compatible with them (since they can't open .exe files, they require Mac-only ones).

It depends what you want from a Mac, but I've found it to be great and my computing life as a whole is now less stressful since I don't need to worry about viruses or most spyware.

Also note that the next release of Mac OS X supports Bootcamp which will allow Windows XP/Vista to be installed on the Mac
