Hi Everyone, I wonder if someone could answer a Windows XP related question for me. My laptop seems to have lost the ability to remember such things email addresses, names, urls etc, when I am filling out application forms etc. Before, whenever I had to enter my email address in a form all I did was type in the first letter, and a dropdown box appeared with all the previous entries beginning with that letter. Now it seems to have stopped doing that. What can I do to get it back, as I find it a real time saver. Thanks in advance, Mickmac

I take it you mean in IE. Tools -> Internet Options -> Content tab -> AutoComplete button. Check the forms checkbox.

Actually I have Firefox as the default browser. I tried doing what you said while using Firefox, tools, options, but could not find anything to do with an AutoComplete button. Any idea where it is ? Thanks, Mickmac

Has nothing whatsoever to do with Windows. Firefox has the same setting Windows and Linux.
