From the start menu, click on search and do a search for it. I'm sure it's there somewhere.

Did you delete the exe or just a shortcut?

If it is not your system, I think you should be able to do a Windows Update to put it back.

If i remember right, there is no ie.exe. I believe it's named iexplore.exe...

But if you open explorer.exe (or go to one of your drive), and type an http:// address in the location bar, it will transform into IE.

I'm telling you this from memory, and in the win98 era.
I'm on linux since then.

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ or C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer (x86)\, depending on the version of Windows you have, will contain your IE executable.

If you've lost it completely, then reinstall IE7.

just open up a folder, hit F6, type in web site(http://www.google.com) and hit enter.
