Has anyone else come across this problem.
I use IE 7, Opera and FF. Until recently I had no problems but now when I attempt to open a link in IE instead of opening in a new tab a new window opens. This happens both by clicking with the centre mouse button and by holding CTRL and clicking a link.
To try to correct this I uninstalled IE and re-installed it, this didn't solve the problem. I have also Googled and have been unable to come up with a solution.
Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Try:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Settings -> Select Always open pop-ups in new tab

For some reason IE is behaving itself at the moment, I really don't understand what's going on as I haven't changed anything. Still alls well that ends well, hopefully I won't have any further problems - but who knows with IE :-)
