Which registry cleaner do you use to clear your registy? I am using hijackthis right now.

I had 2 on board for ages - Registry Mechanic and Registry Fix.
I ran them both at the same time and compared the results.

I found the latter to be more thorough.

CCleaner - definitely the best one out there.

I normally do it manually only if I want to remove the trace of some uninstalled program on the registry, but hijackthis is useful.

I agree. It is a mild cleaner with useful tools. Registry cleaners can remove needed entries, what a hassle if this happens! CCleaner is so mild it pulls up entries that you really do not need, it is basically worry free.

I love to use System mechanic !!
its great till version 6, later it was just a set of many software. At last I am my self good to clean my Registry Personally. Soon Create Some app for that.

i woudn't recommend using registry cleaners, as sometimes it can do more harm than clean your registry, i have had issues with this on xp. but i have used Ccleaner and its great.

i prefer ccleaner, which i used before and i never encounter any difficulties in using this cleaner!

I use Norton's integrated cleaner
