What the lowest High End Gaming computer could you make?

Hard to say - but you wouldn't need a super mobo and the most expensive piece you'd put in there would probably be your graphics card

i coudn't agree more. technology is really fast these days, i can't even enjoy games better after 6 months. just look at crysis, i can't believe its still not a solid 60 frames per second even on a Quad-SLI 9800gx2. Keep in mind that a gx2 costs more than 800 bucks each, you can buy 2 ps3's with that money.

but anyway, if you are going for a budget pc, why not go for ATI's 38xx series. i heard its cheap. go for ddr2 for now, ddr3 is waay too overpriced, an intel dual core with 2.2 ghz (just overclock it later)... the rest is up to you.

Go for xbox instead of buying a new gaming pc...

other people tend to play at pc more that their xbox or playstation...im no good in keyboards...
