Offline games is better because the graphics is excellent in offline games.

You can't blame piracy. Online piracy has been around for at least 20 years, its just that more people know about it now.

Game developers are too quick to blame piracy for the lack in sales, when in fact its because they've made a poor quality game. Its been said that too many of today's games are clones of older successful games, and with nothing new coming out in the industry, I can see it dying a slow and painful death.

Remember Betamax and vhs? Hollywood said that the use of these would be the death of the film industry, but last time I checked it was doing well. Yes, piracy is around in film industry, but the only reason it keeps making money is because new and exciting ideas/films are constantly been developed.

my comments about this topic is yes the PC gaming is dying, first of all they can't make a interesting unique game just what hamesy said all the games that they release are just clones of the older successful games, although Pc gamers love to play sequels, i wouldn't dent that even me i really loved the games diablo and startcraft and im really excited of the upcoming release of the sequels of the game starcraft II and diablo III, the second that concerns me is that increasing spec requirements of each games, we all want the best graphics for the ultimate gaming experience but c'mon the prices of the new hardwares are just too much for an average fellow like me where they get their most sales.

online games are widely played! I guess this is the most popular right now. I just played RAN online but haven't anything else.

Maybe in some ways PC gaming is dying. But here in Philippines, gaming industry is booming more. Mostly teenagers play different online games. But if the gaming industry is dying, hope it will recover again.

Now I have many new games... including Farcry2, Crysis 2, Medal of Honor World at War and Medal of Honor Modern Warfare.... All these games are cool....

My last time playing a PC games is about 5 years ago. Right now just enjoy myself with console game.

I dont think it is piracy destroying this whole area, I think it is the prices of the Hardware. To play COD4 or 5 on full, you need a decent rig. Not to mention Crysis, that game just came out 2years before its time. A decent rig costs a lot of bucks. The Xbox 360 has been out now for how long? And to be anest, it looks great on a HD screen, if the Game supports it.

Still, I favour Pc. the Graphics of an Xbox or PS3 don't even come close to Pc. And what really turns me off about consoles is, there is no mouse and kyboard. How am I suppose to play COD with a Gaming Pad?

i think its on a low because of two reasons.First , not quality game titles and and secondly success of various gaming consoles...if you look in in stores the titles are mainly old or have been relaunced with minor changes..and alsohardware cost for good gaming have been on high.
