i wanted to install surveillance to my office and i want i to record the clipings on my pc...in what way should i start?

simply search google for surveillance firms... There are many cameras that can be attached with computer system... and off course they have a specialized software too....

i had already done that what i want is i wanna get some feedback for those who had experienced with using this kind of cameras and stuff so i know what should be bought..with little hassle on what kind of software..

You can buy internal plug in cards for this very purpose but in my opinion it's not the way to go.

It means you have to leave your computer on 24/7 and it eats away at the computer's resources.

It's got to be better to buy a dedicated, multi channel DVR designed for the purpose. Often these can be linked to the PC so you can download or manipulate various bit of the digital recording or even control the DVR itself.

..when you say download meaning you can access it thru the use of the internet?

Downlaod can also mean a generalised term for data transfer between two or more devices.
Like your USB flash drive, or my T.sonic.

ok thanks for that info...i had called up company doing this service and its not cheap...i using this for my house i want to monitor it with the use of internet using surveillance camera..
