It is an odd question. All mainstream-styled PCs are just box of cheap parts made by other companies. The difference between Dell/Gateway/whatever, and a computer box which you put together yourself, is that your homemade computer will be built of better parts. Not because you look for better parts, but because these companies go to great lengths to save money, they use shortcuts that no one would deliberately put in their own computer, that you don't even see for sale from parts sellers. All the money goes into the plastic on the outside, the colorful stickers and so on.
In other words, there is no best-brand PC in the mainstream price slot, they are all junk by design.
