From my point of view the operating system is Window XP.

Windows XP the best.
The golden Edition is the most beautiful & very user-friendly.

although xp is the best so far in windows, it is still very vulnerable to viruses unless you really have a good anti virus. vista and windows7 isn't vulnerable to those viruses but still needs anti virus and needs hell of hardware. compare to linux oses.

According to my perspective windows are the best Operating system,because largest libraries of programs/application executes on windows as some commercial games works only on windows & direct X eventually all hardware has a drivers which are compatible with the windows.
Last but not the least it is very user friendly.It's not as only plus point are there but as it is very sensitive as well if proper steps are not taken against the viruses,spyware of installation of internet security software it reduce the performance speed.

This relationship to your computer is what kind of configuration. If the configuration is high, can use the latest system,for example,windows 7,If the configuration is lower,use windows xp...

if you are working on hig level than xeon server is best one if useing for only home use than any hp pentium d and if useing for field work than dell system core to dual

IMO, XP is friendly user I mean there are many applications that compatible upon using it. But I believed that Mac OS is also good since you can really protect your computer in any kinds of virus.

well, Microsoft windows will be best choice for computers for its huge number of application software availability. If you choose a free OS then i'll prefer Ubuntu. Ubuntu is awsome. even you can think to replace your windows with ubuntu. it has everything that you might need.

Well window 7 is one of the best operating system , that I liove to use, Windows 7 provides lots of new features along with a newly designed interface.

Windows and Linux. Windows in Office and Linux at home. But mostly prefer windows as using it from a long time.

So far the best operating system according to me is Window XP.
Easy to maintain and use.
Much Faster as compare to the other operating system.
