Ok, so I got a new flash drive for school, an 8GB SONY Micro Vault. I just took it out of the casing, pop it in my computer, and it starts flashing a little orange led light. Obviously that cant be good and it wasn't. 3 seconds later Windows XP says the USB device cant be recognized! The worst part is it was bought a month ago so the recipts long gone :/

I've tried other computer's to no availl. I even put it inside a Wii and it just flashed.

Plz plz plz help
Thanx everyone!

Yeah there supposed too, but it doesn't even recognize what it is. Usualy when windows can't find the driver it at least names it some basic category... and I have tried other PC's, but no other OS's. I might try that... Thanx

Windows can't recognize the flash drive because they have no driver yet for that. If you have driver for that, try to install first. I'm sure there is a cd included for driver when you bought that flash drive.
