Mostly I would like to have someone double check to see if the ps is going to be able to run everything and the 4 case fans as well and if anyone has any other ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks for your time!

The computer is pretty low key. And that power supply is more than enough. I don't see a graphics card. And I would doubt you will need 4 case fan, I would go with maybe 2. That system won't create to much heat.

well the case itself has the four fans that come with it and the onboard video is geforce 800 series, as for low key, i really dont need that much out of it, i just want to run Second life and play mp3s and burn cd's

Hello,

Thats a pretty basic computer. I guess if you are just building it to build it then it's okay. However, it is not a gaming computer or a graphics computer by any means.

I think that sounds really cool that you are building your own computer--I wish I had those types of skills.

You can pick up a retail CPU (w/ heatsink fan) that has a 3 year warranty vs the 30 day OEM warranty:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103256

Instead of the 720 chipset, consider the AMD 780G chipset. Your powersupply is overkill. Get a high quality PSU such as the Seasonic 300w.

The link for the case is linking to the heatsink. (not sure what you chose)

It looks like everything will work out for you. The case is pretty heavy duty though.

will a 300w be enough and have enough connection to run everything?

will this one be a little better for my setup?

300 watts is still more than you need. Also be aware that the stated wattage doesn't mean anything alone.

A 300w power supply? I would go higher...ALOT higher, I have a fairly low end desktop pc with a 500w ps, and it it keeping me breezy...Hasn't knocked me off my feet yet though...And when I get some money, I will prob. get a much bigger one. Bigger is always better when shopping for power supplies.

Just because you have old hardware, it could use it, and it won't hurt the equipment, it will actually be less strain on it, if you think that way.
