yes your acer service center will help you clean your fan and mainboard inside

or try using your laptop in well air conditioned rooms only.
or put your laptop on well insulated ice bar

cooling pad is a big help regarding to your problem...i used acer and never encounter with the same problem

I too would recommend checking to see if there is any dust build up in the fan area and clean it regularly. Also, get a cooling fan. It helped out a lot more than I thought it would with mine.
