Hey guys, Im new here so Im gonna get straight to the point and hope to get some good replys*
I recently downloaded couple files from limewire and now my computer is acting really messed up, It takes long time to start and after turning on
I get many notifications from my firewall that something is trying to connect to the internet, Im worried if they may be trojans or viruses and
that someone is trying to steal my passwords.*

Well thats it, stupid problem and I hope that it has a nice easy solution that you can come up with, Im getting all your replays to my email
so I´ll keep an eye on the topic, take care.*

do you have a good anti-virus program?

install and update your anti virus program so you could get rid of the virus.

Uninstall the limewire... then reboot your machine... if the problem remains... reinstall your OS after formating your disk.. and install a good antivirus

My PC was being a little groggy, i dubbed it phantom slowness, as CPU usage would show as 30-40% (usually its 54-100% while running fine) (RAM was same as normal 50%)

but it would be so slow everytime u click anything it would just freeze up..

So now i have resinatalled everything and once i am sure alls good i will be imaging my C drive so i can just restore my system when things get clogged
